Ok, so I have been asked a bunch of times why I am asking for financial help from you all so I figured I would just get through it for you here. It’s embarrassing enough to ask when you need help but sometimes it’s all you can do.
My sister lost her home and I convinced my husband to take her and her children into our home last November. I couldn’t stand the thought of her and her 2 boys being homeless, and he agreed. So we took them in and he has been awesome! He got them enrolled in school, bought them clothes and school supplies and even gave my sister a job. He took them all shopping for Christmas and made sure everyone had an awesome day!
Everything seemed to be going ok, we all got along and it looked like my sister would be able to get back on her feet by summer.
During all this, little things started to come up missing in our house; my earrings, some cash from my husband’s dresser drawer, a laptop and a couple of other items. We didn’t really notice, just thought we had misplaced things.
In January, my sister just disappeared. We had no clue what happened and checked with everyone we know. Finally we found out she just left her children and took off, and she went back to her drug dealer ex in Fla. She stole our credit cards, debit card and check book. Before we even knew what happened, she wiped us out. It happened so fast and we just never suspected that it was happening until it was too late.
My husband has been awesome through it all and has been fantastic with the boys. He now is working another night job to try and make ends meet but it isn’t enough. Since he works construction mainly and work is slow in the winter, our savings always got us through before. Now, with it all gone, we are just having a really hard time making it.
Things are getting desperate and I am doing my best to keep it all together.
That is why I have been asking for help. I have never asked my fans and friends for anything before and am ashamed to do so now but am running out of options. Anyways, anything that any of you can do to help would be appreciated, including all your well wishes and prayers!
